Prince William County and Manassas ended up in the pages of the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the Washington Post and many others as a result of carefully orchestrated “fam” tours. History buffs, golfers, outdoor adventurers, antique shoppers, leaf peepers, and even outlet mall shoppers got the message and filled the area’s hotel rooms.
